Hexindo Sangatta trial Indykote Ceramic coating on their excavator manifolds

PT Hexindo Sangatta are the first in Indonesia to trial IndyKote ceramic coating. Hexindo Sangatta General Manager, Mr. Graeme Dalzell, instigated the trial in an effort to reduce manifold temperatures. "Fire is a major concern of all owners and operators of large hydraulic excavators", he said, "If this works, it will be a boon to the industry and a lot of us will sleep a little easier".

The Hexindo KPC manifolds were first treated with the IndyKrom ceramic chrome process before receiving a final coat of IndyBlak ceramic black satin. Temperature reductions in the vicinity of 65%+ are expected.

IndyKote will conduct temperature comparison tests of the manifolds and the results will be posted here.
